StopFlock.us is an initiative to kick flock cameras (and other ALPRs) out of any and every city.
What Are Flock Cameras?
Flock Cameras are Automated License Plate Readers (ALPR, for short) that scan every passing license plate as well as other visible information, such as bumper stickers and the make/model of your vehicle.
Why?
AI-driven surveillance cameras treat every driver as a suspect, regardless of guilt. They spy on the daily life of every American, funneling the information to city and state agencies, as well as the private company behind them (Flock Safety).
What Can You Do?
Find out if Flock cameras, or similar technologies, are currently used in your area or by your local government. Write and otherwise speak to your representatives in city/state/federal government letting them know that you do not agree with this surveillance. If your city already has ALPRs, browse the resources page for ways to get them removed.
