I am writing to you today to inform you that I strongly disagree with surveillance technologies such as Flock Cameras and other ALPRs. I believe that they violate the reasonable expectation of privacy for anyone driving on public roadways, and allow law enforcement to search on whim a mosaic of point-in-time location data across the country without bothering for a warrant. I believe that ALPRs should not be used by governments at any level due to this blatant violation of our rights.
